When I was five years old, I underwent eye muscle surgery to correct severe strabismus and amblyopia (commonly known as crossed eyes and lazy eye). At the time, my family lived in Upham, North Dakota, and the nearest hospital was in Minot. It was not an easy journey, but I am grateful that the surgery corrected my vision.
That experience makes me especially thankful for the life-changing research being done at the Retina Foundation of the Southwest to prevent vision loss and restore sight.
As CFO of the Retina Foundation, I invite you to consider supporting our mission with a donation. Your gift helps sustain the vital operational backbone of the Foundation. Without the dedicated finance and business staff supporting our researchers, the groundbreaking work happening in our labs would not be possible. Patients are never charged because of generous donors. Together, we can ensure that our researchers have the resources they need to continue advancing discoveries that change lives.
The Retina Foundation of the Southwest is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit orgnaization.
