In Memory of Hayes Daniel Swaringen

On December 30, 2021 at 5:06 p.m. Hayes Daniel Swaringen was born into the arms of Jesus. He was the most perfect little boy weighing 5 pounds, 3 ounces and was 19 inches long. 

Losing a child is something we never thought would be a part of our story and navigating our grief journey has been so hard. I learned about the Hope Mommies organization a few months after Hayes died and it has been such a blessing to me! Hope Mommies supports loss moms like me through the toughest parts of baby loss. We assemble Hope Boxes for future Hope Mommies and provide them with comfort and support items that will help them navigate life after baby loss, something no Mom should ever have to experience. These boxes are distributed to hospitals all over DFW and will be given to Mamas after experiencing a miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss. Hope Mommies Dallas and Fort Worth chapters provide Hope Boxes to over 30 hospitals in the DFW area. Our goal is to pack and distribute 900 Hope Boxes in 2026. Each Hope Box costs $60 to make. As a nonprofit, we rely 100% on generous donations. 

Since being involved with the Hope Mommies Dallas Chapter, I have met some incredible women who understand the pain of losing a sweet baby and I will be forever grateful for this amazing organization.
