My Goal for Texas TicKids

I’m proud to support Texas TicKids this North Texas Giving Day.

As a Texas TicKids board member, I’ve already made my own commitment to our Giving Day match. Now I’m asking my network to help me multiply that impactOur goal is to raise $30,000 to open 1,000 more doors for youth and families across North Texas.

Texas TicKids changes lives of underserved youth and families through access to live sports, arts, and cultural experiences that expand minds, create joy, and inspire dreams.

The organization works with sports teams, arts organizations, venues, museums, and individual donors to source donated experiences, then connects those opportunities with trusted nonprofit partners across North Texas. Those partners know the children and families they serve and help make sure the experiences reach those who will benefit most.

In just two years, Texas TicKids has already created more than 3,500 experiences for North Texas youth and families.

And the impact is real:

88% of surveyed participants say they would not have had access to the experience without Texas TicKids.85% are attending that type of experience for the first time.

At a recent Texas Rangers game, a teenager attending his first major professional game

looked out at the field and said:

“Seeing them be great makes me believe I can be great too.”

That is what Texas TicKids means by opening doors.
