A Purr-fect Match: A Fundraiser for Cat Matchers.

I've been fostering with Cat Matchers for many years now and have helped find homes for more than a dozen cats (while also freeing up space to save 12 more cats!) The picture above is of my two current fosters Amber and Cooper. They were adopted from Cat Matchers as kittens and returned 3.5 years later through no fault of their own. And because they're older cats, it's now harder to find them a home despite the fact that they are two of the most amazing cats around! It's the sad reality for so many animals, and I'm just happy we have the resources to help where we can. And I'm just one of many volunteers of this great organization. It's a volunteer run organization that involves not only going out and rescuing the cats from shelters or dire situations, but also taking them for medical care, cleaning and prepping cages in various Petco locations so the cats can be seen, adoption events, fundraising events and the list goes on. None of this would be possible without donations from people in the community to provide the medical treatment and resources each cat needs.
