When Jaime and Gloria Segovia learned their baby boy Jaime had been born with a rare and serious bladder condition, they had to make a heart-wrenching decision: leave their home in New Mexico and travel over 600 miles to Dallas to access the specialized care he urgently needed.

Finding the right medical team was only part of the battle. Where could they stay for weeks—or even months—while their baby underwent surgeries and close monitoring?

That’s when they found Ronald McDonald House of Dallas.

“Finding out we could stay here lifted a huge weight off our shoulders,” Jaime said. “Being just a three-minute drive from the care team is such a comfort.”
