Unlocking Potential, One Reader at a Time

As the new school year begins,  Reading Partners North Texas remains dedicated to offering research backed support to students throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Thanks to the community’s support and generosity, we’re able to provide one-to-one tutoring for the students we serve making a meaningful and enduring difference for our students, their families, our volunteers, and beyond!

A story illustrating our why:

Felipe, a 2nd-grader, started with Reading Partners because he struggling with letter sounds and word decoding. He and his tutor set a goal together to improve his decoding skills. Felipe was quiet, but dedicated and working hard during each session. As the school year went on, Felipe’s reading skills improved, and so did his confidence. During one session, he successfully decoded a challenging word and excitedly shared with his tutor that he can help read stories to his little brother now! This moment was a powerful reminder of why his tutor joined Partners. Felipe’s progress not only brought joy to himself but also to his family, his tutor, and the entire Partners team.
