Hi there! I’m Dr. Jessica Willis, a licensed psychologist at The Telos Project.
I first discovered Telos in the spring of 2023 while researching postdoctoral internship opportunities in the Fort Worth area. When I came across the Telos website, I was immediately struck by how closely its mission aligned with my own values: making high-quality mental health care accessible to everyone.
When I started at Telos, I was new to Texas and didn’t yet have a community of my own. Over the years, Telos has become so much more than a workplace—it has become a place that feels like home. There’s a saying, “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life,” and that sentiment truly captures what it’s like to be a psychologist at Telos. I love the work I do, the people I have the privilege of working alongside, and the community we’ve built together.
Telos is filled with fun, creative, and incredibly intelligent people who are passionate about making a difference. This year, I’ve had the opportunity to take on the additional role of Grants Coordinator, which has given me an even deeper appreciation for the meaningful work Telos does and the impact it has on our community.
As we continue working toward our mission, I’ve set a personal goal to raise at least $250 this year. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us expand access to high-quality mental health care for individuals and families across the great state of Texas.
Thank you so much for taking the time to hear my story and for considering supporting Telos. Every bit of support helps us move closer to making mental health care more accessible to everyone.
With gratitude,
Jessica Willis, PsyD
