Over the past four years of my time with Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas, I have had the opportunity to do impactful work, create and implement life changing programs and be a part of a child's team, working together with their family, teachers, and themselves to help them set and achieve bold goals for their future! 

One of my favorite parts of working with Girls Inc. girls has been being able to provide scholarship support! During scholarship season, I get to mentor high schoolers through their scholarship applications. In doing so, I get to help girls realize their full potential, learn how to share their stories, and help them achieve goals that often seem insurmountable. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is getting to witness the moment when they realize that the dreams that their parents and themselves have are actually tangible. Every year, girls inc. girls receive tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships from a variety of organizations, including Girls Inc., and watching students proudly move from high school to college and do so with not just financial, but academic and emotional support that that will help them thrive past high school reaffirms for me time and time again that I have the best job in the world!
