Felicia's team for North Texas Giving Day

We've been serving as Houseparent's at Christ's Haven for a year and a half! What a journey to walk and see the impact of a 'yes' to serving children & families in hard places with excellence. Although we are still new, the mission and stories resonate in these walls we call home and we've added a few of our own.

Normalcy in our home looks the simple joys of putting together puzzles, playing games,  going out for ice cream for good behavior at school (iykyk :), swimming, team sports and being involved in community celebrations! 

Dignity  in our home looks like showing them they are loved, listening, giving them the opportunity to develop their personalities and preferences. It looks like supporting their biological families with grace and honor and celebrating heritage. 

Hope in our home looks like sharing our testimonies of faith, teaching them Scripture, showing and telling them they are loved, valued and created in the image of God. It's displaying the Gospel and life built on a solid foundation. It's being a champion of their dreams and reminding them the best is always yet to come! 

All of these things (and more) are made possible because of generous donor. It's my goal to raise at least $500 to help support our work. If you feel led to give I want you to know we appreciate it and do not take lightly stewarding your yes to sow into this work.
