Kelly's Fundraiser for Christ's Haven

Almost seven years since I started working here, and I continue to see why there is a need for a place like Christ's Haven. We serve a unique group of families, most of whom are doing the best they possibly can. Eventually they get to a point they need someone to come in and provide help because they can't care for their kids anymore. 

For some it's 6 months, others it might be 6+ years. While a child lives at Christ's Haven, they live in one of the houses in our neighborhood of homes and are cared for by a married couple who love them as their own and provide all of the typical caretaking needs. My favorite parts of what Christ's Haven does:

• Siblings Stay Together
• Every Child receives Educational & Mental Health Support
• Life Skills & Career Planning for Teens
• Supervised Independent Living for Young Adults
• When Possible, Reunification is the Goal
• Normalcy, Dignity, and Hope are part of every step and decision
