Dear friends and family,
Recently I attended the North Texas Disability Chamber’s Annual Luncheon. I was struck by the compassion and kindness demonstrated by everyone I met at the event. The conversations, food and setting were wonderful and Amy Wang-Hiller, a talented violinist who definitely didn’t let any disability define her, serenaded us with beautiful music The passion this group had for enabling access and their focus on ensuring inclusion of the disabled was genuine, practical, and contagious—and it is why I’m personally running a fundraiser for NTXDC.
NTXDC convenes, educates, and connects people so accessibility and inclusion aren’t afterthoughts—they’re how North Texas does business and community. All funds go to accessible events, the Emerging Leaders Fellowship, and day-to-day operations that keep the work going year-round.
If you can give, even a small amount multiplies. In fact if you give before September 17th they will match your donation dollar for dollar.
Thank you for considering it. It means a lot that I’m able to ask people I trust.
Love Joanne
