It was May of 2020 at the height of Covid-19. I was 37 weeks pregnant with another bouncing baby boy and I went to an appointment that changed my life. I thought I was going to get my induction date but instead I was told that my son did not have a heartbeat.
How? Why? What happened? I had so many questions and no answers. I knew and loved Jesus but I honestly didn't think I could survive losing Levi... and in all honesty part of me didn't want to. Levi wasn't here and my world was shattered. But in the depths of that grief, something beautiful happened—I received two Hope Boxes. Inside were a Bible, a devotional, a journal, and comfort items created specifically for bereaved mothers like me. These boxes were more than just gifts—they were a lifeline.
These boxes changed the trajectory of my grief. Through those boxes, I found community with Hope Mommies and I learned that grief and joy can coexist, that guilt doesn’t have the final say, and that hope is still possible—even after unimaginable sorrow.
Help Us Give 900 Hope Boxes
This year, our Dallas and Fort Worth Chapters are working together to distribute 900 Hope Boxes to more than 30 hospitals.
Each box costs about $60 and is provided completely free of charge to hospitals and clinics in our area to reach grieving moms. But we need your help to make that possible.
Will You Partner With Us?
Your gift provides more than just a box. It gives a grieving mom:
- A tangible reminder that her baby is remembered
- A connection to a supportive community
- Resources to grieve with hope in Christ
Please donate today and share this page with others. Every dollar helps us reach more hurting families with comfort, truth, and love.
Our story isn’t over. And neither is theirs.
