My name is Alicia, and I am a single Black mother raising a 15-year-old son. Like many young men his age, my son is searching for his identity and his place in the world. Without a consistent male role model in his life, he has started to drift down a path that worries me deeply.
I know my son has so much potential. He is smart, funny, and full of energy, but right now he needs guidance, discipline, and positive examples of manhood that I, as his mother, cannot fully provide alone. That’s why I am seeking help.
I recently found a mentorship program designed specifically for young men like my son. This program will surround him with strong, positive male mentors who will pour into his life—teaching him responsibility, character, and skills that will help shape his future. It will give him a community of men who can guide him in ways I cannot.
As his mother, I want more than anything to keep him from going down the wrong road. I want him to have every chance to grow into the man I know he can be. This mentorship program could be the lifeline he needs, but I cannot afford it on my own.
That’s why I am asking for your support. Your donation will directly help my son enter this program and get the mentorship he desperately needs. Every contribution, no matter how small, is a step toward giving him hope, direction, and a brighter future.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in my son and helping me give him the chance he deserves.
