Our Family Grew Because We Said Yes ❤️
When we became houseparents at Christ’s Haven, we thought we were saying yes to caring for kids. What we discovered was that we were saying yes to becoming family.
Houseparenting happens in the everyday moments family dinners, homework, school drop-offs, church, laughter, hard conversations, bedtime prayers, celebrations, and simply showing up again tomorrow.
Our kids share their home, their parents, and their lives so that children who need a safe place can experience something every child deserves: belonging, consistency, connection, and love.
