Because Everyone Deserves A Home

Hi friends,

This year, I’m fundraising for DRC Solutions during North Texas Giving Day because I believe everyone deserves a safe place to call home.

Homelessness affects all of us in Tarrant County. More than 4,100 of our neighbors are experiencing homelessness at the start of 2025. That isn’t just data. That number represents real men, women, and children without the dignity and stability of a safe place to call home. 

DRC Solutions believes that everyone deserves a safe place to call home. Every day, their team is out in the community working directly with people living unsheltered on the streets, in encampments, or in crisis. They walk alongside each person to: 

• Connect them with housing opportunities and remove barriers to success
• Provide the support and resources needed for stability
• Help them reclaim safety, dignity, and hope

When people move from homelessness into housing, our entire community benefits. Safer neighborhoods, cleaner streets, stronger families, and greater economic opportunities for everyone. Supporting DRC means investing in solutions that work. It means building a Tarrant County where every resident has a home and the chance to thrive. 

This North Texas Giving Day, I’m asking you to join me. Together, we can show that homelessness is not permanent. It can be made to be brief, rare, non-recurring, and solvable. It simply starts with us.
