Community Storehouse has been serving children and families in Tarrant County since 1982. For over 40 years, we have been a place of hope and stability for families facing difficult times. Our mission is simple but powerful: to uplift communities by providing foundational resources to help build a stronger, more successful future.

Every day, children in our community face challenges many of us can hardly imagine—going to bed hungry, lacking clean clothes for school, or falling behind in their education because they don’t have the resources to succeed. At Community Storehouse, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and we work tirelessly to make that a reality.

That’s why North Texas Giving Day is so important. This annual day of giving allows us to join together with people across our community to make an incredible impact. Every gift matters. Every dollar goes directly to supporting children and families in need—helping us provide food, clothing, and education to those who need it most.

What Your Support Makes Possible

Through your fundraiser and the generosity of your network, we can:

• Feed Hungry Children: Our Nutrition Center provides food to families every week, ensuring children have healthy meals at home. In addition, our Snack Pack Program provides weekend food packs for students who might otherwise go hungry when school meals aren’t available. Just $150 can provide Snack Packs for 30 children.

• Provide Clothing with Dignity: We ensure that children have access to clean, well-fitting clothing so they can feel confident and ready to learn. For many families, this is one of the most basic yet overwhelming challenges. Your gift can make sure every child has what they need—from warm coats to everyday essentials.

• Support Learning and Education: Academic success opens doors for brighter futures. Through tutoring, educational programs, and school partnerships, Community Storehouse helps children who are falling behind get back on track. A gift of $1,000 can provide tutoring for multiple students who are struggling to keep up in school.

• $25 = Weekend Snack Packs for 5 kids

• $100 = Clothing essentials for 5 children

• $250 = After-school tutoring sessions for 5 students

• $500 = One month of Snack Packs for an entire classroom

• $1,000 = Tutoring and educational support for multiple children who are falling behind
