I’m proud to serve on the Board of Cowtown Clubhouse, an organization that has become important to me because of the genuine sense of community, belonging, and purpose it creates for people who too often find themselves isolated or overlooked.

Cowtown Clubhouse serves adults living with serious mental illness through a simple but powerful belief: people recover through relationships, purpose, and belonging. Members aren’t treated as patients or defined by a diagnosis. Instead, members and staff work side by side to run the Clubhouse, share meals, build friendships, pursue employment and education, and contribute their talents to a community where they are truly valued and needed.

That sense of purpose is what has made the greatest impression on me. Members aren’t simply receiving services—they are an important part of the community and its success.

That’s why I’m supporting Cowtown Clubhouse this North Texas Giving Day.
