North Texas Giving Day

The Pet Coalition of Ellis County is a Non-Profit organization dedicated to helping animals in Ellis County after the major Shelter & Rescue pulled out of our county.   This has left the homeless, injured, and hungry cats and dogs with absolutely no one and no organization to help them in this cold, cruel world.  We are not a rescue, but partnering with rescues is what we do.  Our cities and county are doing very little to help and the need is great.

Our goals for 2025:

• Preventative Care-The Preventive Care and Medical team's focus is to support shelter animals and community residents by providing affordable preventive care and medical care assistance. From spay/neuter events to vaccine clinics and heartworm prevention, this team will focus on animal care for the community 
• Community Medical funds- for shelter pets and emergency cases for pets without a home or care
• Pet Food Pantry- for underserved citizens and animals in Ellis County
• Advocacy and Awareness is a full time job.  We are working with County and City Officials in Ellis County to raise our voices for solutions in this fast growing county
• Outreach-We will provide assistance to pet owners of the community to help pets stay in loving homes. Support shelters and rescue organizations by spotlighting animals for adoption,  providing assistance with food, supplies, and offering a surrender prevention program
