If you've seen me in a show in the past few years, it's likely been at Stolen Shakespeare Guild, Fort Worth's only theater dedicated to producing the classics. While I don't *exclusively* perform there, they have given me the opportunity to play so many wonderful roles, such as Maria Rainer in "The Sound of Music", Mrs. Molloy in "Hello, Dolly!", Martha in "The Secret Garden", Little Red Riding Hood in "Into the Woods", and Zaneeta Shinn in "The Music Man" (pictured above). I am very proud to be one of their acting ensemble members, a small group of artists who have performed in at least ten of their productions.

Hello, Dolly!

Every year I look forward to SSG's season announcement, so I can begin planning for auditions for the upcoming season. This year, we discovered that they were losing their space at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, a devastating blow, as they are having to move out in December of this year, far more quickly than they could have anticipated.

Most of us cannot be the big donor that swoops in and signs a massive check, but many of us can offer support by giving the price of a ticket to one of their shows, or even just $5. For every dollar you give, I'll be matching it, up to $500! So your $5 immediately becomes $10, you wealthy philanthropist you. You awesome Arts Supporter. We make this theater because of you, to entertain, to challenge, to make you laugh, to create in you a lightness of spirit, even if only for an evening. Lets affirm SSG and give a portion of the love and soul that they have been sharing with the community for over a decade.
