I’m proud to support Hearts for Homes this North Texas Giving Day as a donor, volunteer, and member of its Board of Directors.
As an elder law and estate planning attorney, I have the privilege of serving seniors and their families every day. I believe God gives each of us unique gifts, talents, and resources and calls us to use them in service to others. Hearts for Homes—a Christian outreach dedicated to helping low-income seniors age safely and independently in their own homes—is a natural extension of that calling for me.
For 20 years, Hearts for Homes has provided no-cost home repairs, maintenance, and safety modifications to Denton County seniors in need. Once a senior qualifies, H4H continues caring for them for as long as they remain in their home. Over those 20 years, H4H has served 1,185 seniors through 7,896 projects and more than 100,000 volunteer hours.
This year, I was incredibly honored to be named Best of Denton County for Elder Law. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate that recognition than by giving back to the seniors in the community I am privileged to serve.
I personally give my time, talents, and financial support to this mission because I believe in it. I hope you’ll join me this North Texas Giving Day in helping our seniors age in place safely, independently, and with dignity. ❤️
