My name is Maia Anchia, and I am a member of the Paper for Water Change Makers Council. Paper for Water is a non-profit organization that raises money and awareness of the world water crisis through the art of origami. PFW has helped fund many water projects in 20 countries around the world.
I chose Paper for Water because I previously knew the Adams, their determination inspired me. I initially joined Paper for Water for community service hours but after working with them and learning about the water crisis I started to understand the severity of the situation.
Today I’d like to ask you to help me reach my goal of raising $500 for Paper for Water for North Texas Giving Day. Please join us to help provide clean water and sanitation access to the people who desperately need it.
