Jubilee Park & Community Center is a local Dallas organization near and dear to my heart.
Jubilee improves lives in Southeast Dallas through five key pillars of impact: Safety, Health, Housing, Education & Workforce and Opportunity. Its multi-acre campus serves more than 2,500 individuals per year across multiple generations with services ranging from prenatal care to senior health clinics and from housing programs to tutoring. Jubilee continues to expand and evolve to meet the needs of this resilient community; in the last 12 months alone Jubilee Park & Community Center opened a health clinic complete with mental health services, primary and dental care, and holistic health classes, as well as the neighborhood's first-ever food pantry. Supporting this organization means that Jubilee can continue to meet the needs of their neighbors, no matter what they are.
In its 25 year history, Jubilee has made measurable progress toward combatting our city’s most salient inequities; what cannot be quantified, however, is the sense of hope and pride that our families have gained.
