UNEXPECTEDLY HEARTFELT PERFORMING ARTS PROGRAMMING
The first time I attended an Over the Bridge Arts show I was blown away - by the talent I saw on stage, by the diversity of both the performers and the audience around me, and by the really personal experience we shared in a small venue. Why don't more people know about this, I wondered? So now I'm a board member, and I'm putting my passion for this group to work.
I'll match the first $250 in total donations toward my $1,000 goal. The joy of crowdfunding is that even modest donations add up quickly.
The image at the top of this page is a preview of our three shows coming up this season. It's a snapshot of the broad range of performances that you'll see on our stages - everything from dance, to film, to slam poetry. Every artist is paid for their work and our ticket prices are deliberately affordable for everyone in our community - which is why your support on North Texas Giving Day is critical.
WE ARE SMALL, BUT MIGHTY
It's no secret that the arts are under fire. We are a small nonprofit with a very lean budget, and Over the Bridge Arts is committed to making connections between members of diverse communities through live performances featuring local artists. Your support will not only help keep our programming alive and accessible, but will also send the message that the arts are for everyone.
Our first show this season is "Burning Woman," October 24-25 at Arts Mission Oak Cliff. Intrigued by the title? Good - hope to see you there. But donate first ...
Thank you!
