Hello, I am Jacky, and...
I became a Hendrick scholar in 2023.
I attend Tarleton State University and am majoring in Wildlife, Sustainability, and Ecosystem Sciences with a concentration in Wildlife Ecology and Management.
After I graduate, I plan to become a Wildlife Biologist for the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department or the US Fish and Wildlife Services. My main focus is on conservation and field research. Concurrently, I will be pursuing my other dream of traveling and my hobby of photography.
HSF has made a difference in my life by helping me navigate college life as a first-generation student. It has also helped me see that my dreams can be made possible.
