Support My Work Against [Hunger/Homelessness]!

I have been volunteering at First Street Mission for  6 years, and I'm so proud of the work being done there.  All who enter are accepted as they are and are greeted with kindness and respect  Hungry people are receiving sack lunches, groceries are being provided to many in need of healthy food,  parents are getting help with formula, diapers, and both infant and children's clothing, unhoused people are receiving help getting off the street and are receiving food, clothing, assistance, and compassion from a wonderful staff and group of volunteers.    A cool place is being provided to rest while temperatures soar. bags of food for the weekend are being prepared and delivered to schools for children in need,  and relationships are being formed as we work closely with our guests and each other.  First Street Mission has enriched my life, but more importantly, it is making a difference in the Fort Worth area!! 

For the past two years, we have been working to deepen the impact of our organization, with the goal of providing the kind of relationship-based social support that can end homelessness and/or poverty, one guest at a time.
