Cricket, A Parvo Pup

Cricket’s owners adopted her from her previous owner. They thought she was up to date on her vaccines, but turns out she did not receive any. She started displaying symptoms of parvo, but her owners couldn’t afford her care so she was surrendered to Dallas Animal Services. Cricket’s owners were devastated. They were desperate to get her back. Dallas Animal Services contacted our PASS team for assistance. Cricket's owners were able to pick her up before the shelter opened, and took her straight to our vet partner in Carrollton. She spent the day getting treatment, but more care was needed. She was transferred to our ER partner in Frisco. She spent the weekend receiving urgent care before she could go home to her family.
