North Texas Giving Day is right around the corner, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support in a cause that means a lot to me: ending homelessness in Tarrant County; because everyone deserves a home.

At the start of 2025, more than 4,100 of our neighbors in Tarrant County are experiencing homelessness.

That’s 4,100 people without a safe place to sleep, without stability, and often without hope. It’s a crisis—but it’s one we can do something about.

In supporting DRC Solutions, you're supporting a nonprofit that’s on the front lines of ending homelessness in our community; every day. The DRC team is out in the community working directly with people living unsheltered on the streets, in encampments, or in crisis. They walk alongside each person to: 

• Connect them with housing opportunities and remove barriers to success
• Offer case management and supportive services once housed to help rebuild their lives with dignity

When people move from homelessness into housing, our entire community benefits. Safer neighborhoods, cleaner streets, stronger families, and greater economic opportunities for everyone. 

We can show that homelessness is not permanent. It can be made to be brief, rare, non-recurring, and solvable. It simply starts with us.
