Then and now, Hearts for Homes has been assisting low-income Denton County senior homeowners with maintenance, safety modifications and general repairs for the past 20 years. They have helped over 1100 seniors over the years to age in place safely and with dignity. They don't just repair homes, they restore lives because they serve other needs, too, such as filling their clients' pantries during the holidays, advocating for and connecting them to other resources available to them, checking in on them regularly so they know they are not forgotten, and more. Struggling, vulnerable seniors know they can count on Hearts for Homes to lend them a hand, whether it is fixing a running toilet or repairing the hole in their roof or making safety modifications to help them age in place safely.

As a member of the board and one who sees how great the impact on these people is, I can't stress enough how your support will be embraced and help someone in need. These seniors are very humble and don't ask for much of anything. It would surprise you how some of them live with no inside plumbing, limited groceries, and even holes in their floors.  

We all want to stay in the homes we have grown to love over the years and they are now different.  Help me help them live out the rest of their lives where they feel most comfortable.
