When you choose to support Agape, you are making a multi-generational impact, giving new hope to children like the ones in the photo above who attend Sky Ranch Camp through a scholarship program for Agape families.  The emotional well being of children, and their ability to matriculate and learn in school is affected by their nutrition, their housing stability, their sense of security. And all of these things are out of their little hands. We MUST help the moms so we can help the children.  I am Agape's Chief of Staff. I try to help keep all the plates spinning. I do this because I am called to be here, because I was one of six children of a single mom, who always gave her all to make a better life for her children, and sometimes, she needed some help. And sometimes, help wasn't there.

For 10+ years Agape has successfully empowered homeless women led families to move from crisis, poverty and abuse to fulfilling, self-sustaining lives by providing safe, stable transitional housing, childcare, workforce education, transportation assistance, budgeting, credit repair & counseling. Since 2013 Agape has grown from 1 house, 2 beds and a crib to supporting, on average, 25 families a year in 5 owned housing units. To meet the growing need, over the next two years, Agape will add four transitional housing town homes, enabling us to support eight more families.  We will remodel four office condos into housing units.  

In addition to transitional housing, Agape will open Jericho Village, a permanent income-based housing community in Wylie Texas.  Jericho will provide 38 beautiful, affordable homes for graduates from the Agape program, as well as for the residents of Wylie who struggle to make ends meet in one of the most affluent counties in the country, that sorely lacks affordable housing.
