Alejandra Medina’s NTX Giving Day 2025!

I became a Hendrick scholar in August 2024. 

I attend Texas A&M University -Corpus Christi and am majoring in nursing.

After I graduate, I plan to take my NCLEX and go into the nursing field.

HSF has made a difference in my life by significantly helping me pay for rent, gas and food. My freshman man year I was taking 18 credit hours! I was able to dedicate my time to excelling in my nursing prerequisites without the extra pressure of having to make a living. I am a first generation college student so this is all new to my family. The Hendrick foundation has also provided me with a coach helping me navigate through college.
