The Heart Behind Our Journey

Hello everyone🎃🍂! I’m Noor, I became a Hendrick Scholar in 2024, and I am currently attending Collin College for my prerequisites in nursing. My goal is to transfer to Texas Woman’s University to pursue my nursing program and continue working toward my dream career in healthcare. After graduation, I plan to pursue a career in either pediatrics or labor and delivery. My long-term goal is to continue my education, earn my master’s degree, and become a Nurse Practitioner.

I recently moved to the United States from Jordan, and like many others, I experienced cultural shock and struggled with English in the beginning. Those challenges taught me resilience and made me even more determined to succeed.

HSF has truly made a difference in my life by providing both the financial and emotional support that I needed. HSF is more than just an organization, it is a family where we encourage one another to succeed.
