Why We Give:Volar, founded in 2022, exists to close the higher-education opportunity gap for first-generation, low-income students and students of color in the Dallas area Volar. Too many talented young people graduate from high school without the support they need to thrive in college and beyond.

What Volar Does:

• Provides individualized college and career advising, offering at least 5 hours of guidance per student during their senior year—far above the national average of just 38 minutes Volar.

• Uses a hybrid advising model, blending virtual and in-person interactions to increase accessibility across the Dallas-Fort Worth area Volar.

• Supports families through workshops and community engagement, ensuring students have a supportive environment for success Volar.

• Offers scholarship opportunities to relieve financial barriers and help keep students on the path to degree completion Volar.
