Celebrate My 30th with a $30 Gift

This year, turning 30 means more to me than I ever imagined.

Just over a year ago, I lost my mom to cancer. While I was still learning to navigate that unimaginable grief, my own world changed forever when I was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive ovarian cancer. In a matter of months, I endured multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, and countless appointments—all while wondering what the future would hold.

There were moments when I didn't know if I would make it to this birthday.

Today, I am incredibly grateful to say I am cancer-free.

My journey reminded me that none of us makes it through life's hardest moments alone. It takes a community of people who believe in you, encourage you, and invest in your future. I have been blessed by that kind of support, and it has inspired me to spend my life creating those same opportunities for others.

That is why serving as Director of Development for Girls Inc. of Tarrant County is so meaningful to me.

Every day, I have the privilege of seeing girls discover confidence, pursue careers in STEM, prepare for college, find their voices, and dream bigger than they ever thought possible. Among the girls we serve are future doctors, scientists, engineers, educators, entrepreneurs, and community leaders. One day, one of these young women may be the physician who discovers the next breakthrough, the engineer who solves tomorrow's challenges, or the doctor who saves someone's life.

That possibility is worth investing in.

As I celebrate my 30th birthday, I'm not asking for gifts. Instead, I'm inviting you to join me in creating brighter futures by making a gift to Girls Inc. of Tarrant County through North Texas Giving Day.
