I am so proud to be serving in my 9th year on the board of such an amazing non-profit, She Supply. We are committed to helping women in need by providing feminine hygiene products, bras and panties to the 1 in 5 women and girls in North Texas who live in poverty. 1 in 3 teen girls miss class due to lack of access to period products and 1 in 3 women miss work for the same reason.
We have grown to meet the needs of so many wonderful women and teens in the metroplex and to date we have distributed over 1.9 million free period products to our community partners, and this year we are focused on raising funds to provide hygiene products to our local Title 1 Schools.
Please help us reach our goal of $30,000 this year so we can help more women stay on the job and more girls can stay in school during their cycle with the products needed to maintain their hygiene and dignity.
