CECPTA: World of Food. Flowers. Fundraiser.

We’re brought the world to your table on September 17th at a Petite Farmers Market-style event called Kidsgiving Day.

It’s our 3rd year participating in this fundraising event where our kids (Ngos, Shahs, Lahouds and Trans) will put their entrepreneur skills to give back to their community by selling more than just a lemonade stand. We went big this year with "World of Foods." Our family, friends and supporters had a taste of flavors with us grab and go food concept, including fresh flowers and produce all -in-one booth. All proceeds will benefit Carrollton Early Child PTA, Metrocrest Services & CFBISD Educational Foundation.

What did we sell?

• Mexican Fruit Cup (Lahoud Family)

• Indian Curry Masala (Shah Family)

• Vietnamese Fruit Tea (Tran Family)

• Japanese Onigiri (rice balls) from Okaeri Cafe (Ngo Family)

• + Fresh Farm Flower arrangements, eggs and produce!

Last year, the Ngo family and their friends sold gourmet popcorn from Triple T's popcorn, homemade lemonade, Texas cookies and sprinkled nachos. They raised $766! We asked our family and friends to match our donations to double the impact and received an overwhelming support with an anonymous corporate match and special sponsor donations from Shiny Smiles Dentistry and Shell's Seafood and surpassed our goal!

This year, with our "World of Foods" concept, we went big and raised our goal to $1500. We still need your help to support a worthy cause. CECPTA plays a big role in our family and community. Our children are able to volunteer different nonprofit organizations to give back such as The Giving Garden, and Love Pacs. We also participate in educational activities and family events.
