Hi guys, 

As the Executive Assistant & Board Liaison at Readers 2 Leaders, I’m excited to launch a personal fundraiser to support our mission of equipping students for success through the power of reading. At Readers 2 Leaders, we’re committed to ensuring that all students have equitable opportunities to thrive as both readers and leaders. With your help, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of the children we serve.

Why I’m Fundraising

From a young age, my parents encouraged reading as a way to expand my experiences. While my peers were taking extravagant family vacations, my mom would say, "You can travel through books!" I soon discovered how true her words were, as my horizons were broadened by stories set in faraway places and filled with characters from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Eventually, I even had the opportunity to visit some of the dear places I'd first explored through the pages of books.

To this day, I still love reading, and I’m proud to work for an organization that’s committed to ensuring every child in our community has the same chance to fall in love with reading, just like I did.

Help me raise $1,000 to make sure local children have access to books, stories, and the opportunities they unlock. Every dollar makes a difference. Let’s open the world to them, one page at a time.
