My name is Andrea Robles, and I am in my last semester at Texas State University, majoring in microbiology. After experiencing the impact of COVID-19, I realized I wanted to make a difference in the world. I knew I wanted to work in a laboratory to help people combat illnesses. The Hendrick Scholarship Foundation has played a vital role in my journey by giving me the opportunity to pursue my education and follow my dreams. Achieving this goal will allow me to give back to my community and, most importantly, to my family.
