Kunsang Palden for NTX Giving Day 2025!

Hello! My name is Kunsang Palden and I became a Hendrick scholar in 2024. It is officially nearing my first full year part of this wonderful program.

I attend Collin College and am majoring in Psychology. After I obtain my Associates of Arts degree, I plan to transfer to the University of Texas at Dallas to further my education. Pursuing psychology has been my dream since middle school, and the strong foundation HSF has built for us scholars is irreplaceable. 

HSF has made a difference in my life by providing me a genuine support system. They have given me so many resources and opportunities to develop important skills, such as networking and goal setting. My Coach from HSF has also given me a safe space to ask for advice and better myself with. The road to self improvement is ironically nicer with the presence of others. The experiences I’ve had thanks to this program have all shaped me into someone younger me would be proud of.
