Rescue Has No Borders—But It Needs a Foundation

At Save Texas K9s, we believe rescue knows no borders.

Every day, we take in the forgotten—the neglected, the abused, the abandoned

  • Dogs on euthanasia lists in shelters
  • Strays left to survive on their own
  • Pregnant moms and nursing litters
  • Dogs injured, sick, or emotionally shut down

We provide medical care. We rebuild trust. And we find these dogs loving homes across the U.S.—and beyond.

So far, our dogs have been adopted, not just across the United States, including Alaska; but also in Canada, Germany, Switzerland, France, Austria, and even the United Arab Emirates. On average, we place 40 dogs into forever homes every month.

Behind this mission is a small but dedicated team of six unpaid volunteers. We devote countless hours to ensure each dog receives proper care, love, and attention—and we network tirelessly to match them with the right homes.

Our model works because every dog goes to Judith, who personally provides initial care and veterinary visits, evaluates behavior, begins basic training, and ensures each dog is matched with the right home.

This hands-on approach greatly reduces adoption returns and sets our dogs up for success.  But we are outgrowing our current capacity.

To keep saving lives, Judith has provided land to build a permanent shelter—a space designed for safety, stability, and sustainable growth. The facility will include:

  • A medical treatment room
  • Quarantine space for sick or incoming dogs
  • Areas for training, evaluation, and enrichment

All critical steps to help more dogs become adoption-ready.

This is a grassroots, cost-effective project—but we need $30,000 to finish construction.

Rescue can’t happen without a foundation.

Will you help us build it?
