Shakespeare Dallas brings the magic of live theater to North Texas audiences, focusing on the works of William Shakespeare presented under the stars in Dallas's Samuell Grand Park. Shakespeare in the Park is truly theater for the people.  As imagined by Shakespeare Dallas's visionary directors and embodied by talented and diverse casts, these classic plays come alive for today's audiences in ways that are fun, moving, educational, and inclusive.  Most importantly, Shakespeare Dallas is committed to ensuring that these performances are low cost, high quality, and accessible and welcoming to everyone. No one is turned away for inability to pay and we keep ticket prices low (in many cases, free) to remove barriers to access. We also provide free and low cost arts education to thousands of students each year and are a key employer of actors, directors, and other North Texas creatives.
