Fossil Rim’s new veterinary hospital will give endangered animals the care they deserve - from routine checkups to lifesaving surgeries. This North Texas Giving Day, your donation has a direct impact. Every dollar goes toward building and equipping this state-of-the-art facility. Together, we can protect wildlife for generations to come.

Fossil Rim Wildlife Center has been a leader in wildlife conservation for over 40 years, caring for every species across our 1,800-acre preserve. Our mission focuses on the survival of threatened and endangered animals - successfully breeding more than 200 cheetahs on-site, assisting in the reintroduction of the scimitar-horned oryx after decades of extinction, and maintaining a large, active breeding herd. Our efforts have also supported the births of numerous southern white and south-central black rhinoceros calves, all within expansive, semi-free-roaming habitats designed to let herds thrive.

We also play a vital role in the recovery of the Attwater's prairie chicken, one of America’s most endangered birds. Through close collaboration with partners, we help release hundreds of these birds annually, working to bring this iconic species back from the brink.
