Think back to when you were 18 years old. Who was helping you? Who did you depend on? Can you imagine not having at least ONE person to help guide and support you through life as a young adult?
I've been in the child-welfare arena for 34 years! I get to see first-hand youth that are aging out of foster care or experiencing homelessness without any support, money or help. TRAC is that safety net for those youth. Our work is incredibly amazing and incredibly hard.
TRAC provides about 1,200 young people, annually, with life skills training, crisis intervention, transition planning, housing assistance, workforce support, education assistance, physical and mental health services, and the support in our drop-in centers (to get a snack, or get out of the 104 heat, or charge their phone, etc...)
That’s why I’m fundraising for TRAC! I’ve pledged to recruit 10-15 donors as part of this campaign. I’d be so grateful if you’d support me.
