Arnies Legacy Grant

Heartworm Disease is highly preventable but deadly when left untreated. Our rescue seeks out these animals in an effort to treat this disease before it becomes fatal. Once treated these dogs can go on to lead normal, happy lives.

No dog (or loving owner) should suffer the horrors of end stage heartworm disease.

Since our beloved friend Arnie left us we have tried to focus more on helping others be treated before their life is beyond recovery.  A canine companion can be treated and still not able to have a normal life.  Seeing Arnie suffer the consequences of having heart worms for a long period of his life helped us understand why we must help others in a similar situation.  
NO DOG should die from a preventable disease!!!
