BPRC - Saving Raptors, Restoring Prairies

Last spring, a baby red-tailed hawk was brought to the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center after being found weak and alone by the roadside. Too young to survive on its own, it needed round-the-clock care. With patient feeding, medical support, and the dedication of our staff and volunteers, the little hawk grew stronger each day.

The most unforgettable moment came when that young bird spread its wings for the first time in open skies—healthy, wild, and free.

Stories like this are why I do this work. As Executive Director, I see every day how your support makes a direct impact—saving raptors, restoring prairie habitat, and inspiring thousands through education.
