Feral Friends Community Cat Alliance has been an invaluable ally in our mission at Cedar Creek Lake and Henderson County, demonstrating an extraordinary commitment to addressing the pressing issue of unowned and feral cats in East Texas.
Several small non-profits dedicated to this cause were eager to contribute through trapping efforts but were overwhelmed by the financial burden of veterinary surgeries.
Thankfully, Feral Friends stepped in with open arms, generously funding our monthly Saturday feral cat mega spay days.
Since last November, we have successfully trapped, neutered, vaccinated, and returned nearly 1,000 cats, with Feral Friends covering over 70% of these vital surgeries.
However, the need for their support remains urgent; despite our significant progress, calls for help continue to flood in from community members struggling with rampant breeding among unowned cats.
Your donation is crucial in replenishing Feral Friends' funds, enabling them to sustain and expand their essential work. Together, we can foster a more humane approach to managing community cat populations and ensure that no cat goes unhelped. Join us in this important movement, and take pride in knowing that your contributions make a tangible difference in our community!
Every week, my phone rings with heartfelt pleas like, "I need help. I've been feeding these cats, and the breeding has gotten out of control!" It's often the elderly, those golden-hearted souls, who prioritize these furry friends over their own meals, showing just how deep their love runs.
Without the support of Feral Friends Community Cat Alliance, I couldn't respond with hope, asking, "How many cats do you think you have?"
If I've lent a helping paw to you or your neighbors, or if you're simply a cat lover or a friend of our community, I urge you to dig deep and give.
Remember, your contribution isn't just a donation; it's a lifeline for those who make sacrifices for these kitties, and it connects you to a vibrant community dedicated to making a purr-fectly positive change!
