Giving cats a chance: Rescue, Rehab, Rehome

I began volunteering in the animal rescue world in 1996.    This journey has filled my life with immense joy and a great sense of purpose.  This isn't just working with cats, but also the volunteers who pour their lives into the animals and the local community looking for that special pet or help with one in their home currently.  

There have been so many experiences along the way:  fostering, cage cleaning, transporting, TNR, being part of the Hurricane Katrina cat rescue, bottle feeding and so many others. 

In 2007,  I had the privilege of helping to found Cat Matchers.  We are a 100% volunteer powered rescue, so every dollar you give goes directly toward rescuing cats in need.  We have between 400-600 cats in our system each year and place 300-400 in homes.
