As we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of our parish, we give thanks for five decades of faith, fellowship, service, and community. This milestone is not only a time to reflect on our rich history but also an opportunity to invest in the spaces that bring our parish family together.
This year, a dedicated Eagle Scout candidate is working towards the installation a sustainable pergola for the courtyard as his service project. The pergola will provide a welcoming focal point for parishioners and visitors, creating a place to gather, connect, and enjoy fellowship before and after Mass.
To complete this special space during our Golden Anniversary year, we hope to add landscaping, decorative plantings, seating enhancements, and other thoughtful beautification projects that will transform the courtyard into a truly inviting space for prayer, conversation, and community. These finishing touches will complement the new pergola and create an outdoor gathering area that reflects the warmth, hospitality, and spirit of our parish community.
As we commemorate 50 years of parish life, we invite you to leave a lasting mark on our next 50 years. Your gift of any size will help bring this vision to life and create a welcoming space that future generations of parishioners will enjoy.
Please make your gift today and join us in celebrating our Golden Anniversary by helping complete this meaningful project. Together, we can create a courtyard that honors our past, enriches our present, and inspires our future.
Thank you for helping us invest in the heart of our parish family!
St. Joseph Catholic Church | Richardson TX
Inspired by our patron, St. Joseph, we are united as a community of disciples of Jesus Christ. We proclaim our Roman Catholic Faith through our commitment to evangelize within our parish and beyond as we worship, study, and serve.
We are blessed with a large, active community. We are finding that we are running out of space for our groups to meet; there are some nights every room is being used! We plan to renovate to the Board Room to allow the space to be utilized by groups with more people. If we meet that goal we will then work to raise money for the Youth Center. Finally, if both of these goals are reached, any additional money will go towards renovating the restrooms by the dining hall and gym.
