St. Francis of Assisi is a vibrant, diverse, and colossal Catholic Church founded originally as a missionary parish by approximately 12 Spanish speaking families seeking to live their faith and to serve the local community. Since its founding, St. Francis has grown to an estimated 14,000 families, which equates to approximately 47,000 parishioners representing multiple cultures. St. Francis supports the Frisco, Prosper, Celina, Little Elm, Princeton, and surrounding Collin County areas. St. Francis is a dynamic parish with many passionate families and parishioners willing to serve and seeking to grow in their faith. It is also a diverse community representing a vast number of different cultures and nationalities. This melting pot of a faith community is comprised of individuals with contrasting schools of thought, interests, and preferences of expressing their faith and worshipping.
More than ever, we are all longing for a sense of community. Help us fill this need by supporting your discipleship experience at St. Francis of Assisi
The Mission Statement of St. Francis of Assisi is the same Mission Statement that Jesus gave his eleven disciples (the Great Commissioning) found in the last chapter of Matthew.
The eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had ordered them. When they saw him, they worshiped, but they doubted. Then Jesus approached and said to them, “All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age."
MATTHEW 28:16-20

At St. Francis, we are so blessed to bear witness to our joyful faith through a wonderful Sunday Worship experience. The Mass, the celebration of the Eucharist is the source and summit of our Catholic Faith. Over the past year, our community continues to grow and flourish. We now have one of the biggest and most vibrant parishes in the United States with nearly 9,000 faithful attending Mass each weekend.
This year for North Texas Giving Day - we are raising money to maintain and enhance our Sunday worship and campus experience. Our goal this year is $25,000 to further elevate our world-class worship experience across all 13 weekend Masses. This includes enhancing our music program across all Masses, upgrading the sound at all Masses and liturgies, improving the lighting in the Church and Chapel, elevating our safety and security capabilities, growing the first Sensory Friendly Mass in the diocese, expanding our Ad Orientem Novus Ordo Mass to each Sunday, making all Masses more accessible to parishioners with disabilities, and improving hospitality.
We are grateful for the blessings that the Lord continues to pour out on our community and ask you to give to St. Francis North Texas Giving Day Fund.
