St. Timothy Christian Academy just completed its 17th year and is stronger than ever! The school exists because of a dream that our founder, Dr. Paul Warren, had for students with learning differences. He envisioned a school where every child could learn, regardless of their learning differences, and be valued for exactly who God created them to be. Learning differences include ADHD, dyslexia, autism spectrum disorders, sensory integration, anxiety and mood disorders, as well as many others. These differences affect each child differently and are often detected when a student is struggling in a traditional academic setting. We are committed to bringing academic success to students who have faced failures in the classroom because we celebrate our students' differences!
Funds raised through North Texas Giving Day will be used to assist in educational programming and tuition assistance - such as additional technology, updated curriculum and ancillary resources.
St. Timothy Christian Academy exists to support families and educate students with learning
differences in grades K-12 in a redemptive Christian environment, helping them realize their full potential as a child of God.
The donations we receive from your generosity will help to supply resources for needs such as:
- Assistive technology for students needing help with communication and sensory needs
- Microscopes and chemistry sets to enhance the classroom experiences in Science
- Funding for field trips that allow our students to experience real-world adventures that would not normally be a part of their day-to-day lives
