OUR FOCUS

Truth-Telling
Creating an atmosphere for people to share in their understanding of modern-day slavery through various entertainment/activities: art, drink, fashion, film, food, music, etc. Understanding the global issue and not turning our backs but actually looking within ourselves and the choices we make.

Awakening the Spirit Within Us
Bringing people together to care about our neighbor's near and far. Sharing knowledge and creating resources to build compassion for other's less fortunate than ourselves.

Challenging Notions that Victims Sought This Life
We avoid victim-shaming knowing that this was not a life sought out by those who have been forced into these circumstances.  By now you have all heard of the father's anguish when his daughter was taken on April 8 from the Dallas Mavericks game, no family should have to go through this ordeal.

How this is accomplished
We plan, design, and facilitate parties and events in various communities to raise awareness of the many aspects and issues of human trafficking. We FUNdraise by using volunteer artists, musicians, and foodies to come together and share their talents to help end it.   We leverage the partnerships and the talents of others.  We won an opportunity with On Air Media last year and we need volunteers to come forward and share their expertise and talent.  We just finished a project with UTDsolv and 80 students in their Senior Capstone project in Social Impact Marketing.  These students have asked us to help them create a chapter on their campus.  We would love to have a chapter in every campus in Texas.

Our Needs

We are in our 4th year of existence.  We continue to fundraise to raise money to fund our next awareness-fundraising event. We need sponsors and donated space to host events. Restaurant owner partners.

We believe that pictures tell 1,000 words and we do have a photo exhibit used in Beverly Hills art gallery to highlight the problem of human trafficking in a very engaging display. We would like to have our photos in airports. Also, because we recently took pictures at the Dallas Holocaust Museum, we would like a connection to this museum as we believe we can put together a photographic art exhibit and highlights the human spirit. We need connections and interest to have our photos on display in all Dallas counties. We have pictures at the Dallas Arboretum as well. We need the tourism board or each city to sponsor our photo exhibit in their city.

Mission

To boldly educate the community using new ways to fight against human trafficking, to seek out new partners and create an interactive environment to do good. Freedom: the ultimate journey. We will host awareness parties to address and fight a very serious problem in our world today.

Covid 19 has created an interesting problem with human trafficking. With business travel and meetings ground to a halt, child trafficking is taking a harmful turn. We want to help raise the level of awareness to address addictions such as the increased demand for child porn. Perpetrators with nowhere else to go are potentially harming their own child or neighbors child. Our mission is to raise awareness that human trafficking can be stopped.

We are looking to do more awareness through our website and online webinars. We need financial support for us to help curate and create educational environments that use creativity to bring social innovation. With this time of isolation, all our plans to participate at events and create innovative, interactive, creative sessions are on hold til October. Also many of our in-kind sponsors (airline and hotel industry partners) have shuttered their operations. We are planning interactive sessions but would like to raise money for using secure online platforms to host events, cover cost of artists, and fund some other creative art exhibits.

Equity Statement

At Rescue Party Give we believe that all races and all socio-economic levels are at risk of becoming victims of human trafficking. However there is a disproportionate share coming from the poorer communities. We believe in one race, the human race and support the belief that everyone deserves freedom and justice no matter their ethnicity.
